    Actually when you eating really low carb even if you eat 200% more than what you normally eat you generally wont put any weigh on. You wont loose but you wont put either.
    Insulin stores fat from dietary sources, when insulin is low nothing will store the calories so they’ll be used as energy, your cells thermogenesis increases. I believe in caloric deficit when loosing weight not when maintaining. On HC if i eat 1600 cals i put weight, on 80% fat diet i can eat 2500+ and wont put a pound

    I forgot, americans are eating about 500gr of carbs a day, most of them refined, i would say Asian don’t even get close to 150gr and most of them are from veggies and fruits, little sugar (westernized ones are actually getting sick)

    mmmmm China is not the best example, Japan is… heaps of fish and veggies, tiny portions of rice. Fish, Fish, Fish lol
    However many studies suggest that there are 2 ways of lowering colesterol and improving health (and longevity). 1. Lowering carbs 2. lowering calories to a very low point. Last one seems to be the case of Asian countries (it’s changing though)

    Eat the chocolate (homemade) just after your paleo meal and you wont need to excercise cause you wont even want to finish the whole bar, to much food, no needed.
    I agree, Excercise increases muscle – Muscle increases BMR – Increased BMR = Weight loss

    Running 1 hour at the gym after your low-fat muffin is just pointless

    Ohhhhhhhhh so true.. Doesn’t have anything to do with calories in and out… It’s NUTRIENTS IN – NUTRIENTS OUT, when you eat a paleo diet (1. meat/chiken/fish, full fat 2. veggies 3. berries 4. nuts in that order) you CAN’T OVEREAT (Even if u try to xD), your body actually tells you It’s enough, i’m not longer starving lets wait 5-6 hours

    Most protein bars are absolute rubbish and about the worst thing you could eat so don’t pat yourself on the back there.

    One of the main things to avoid is to think “I can eat this chocolate bar and just exercise it off later”, because then the exercise can actually aid you in becoming fatter.

    continued from below… I eat less and don’t get those big hunger pangs like I did when I ate junk food. Once you body adjusts to eating real food, like oranges, apples, veggies, lean meats, etc – you will eat less. But only if you cut out ALL processed food and sugar. You cannot do both. It won’t work. I never eat bread or pizza or anything else premade with the exception of Pepperidge farm whole wheat crackers. Eating junk food almost killed me. It’s amazing what real foof does for your life.

    Innervoice. I totally agree. I only eat real food. In a few months my health has completely turned around. I lost 14 lbs. I cut out high fructose corn syrup first off! It’s evil. No kidding. I do not eat anything with corn filler in it either. I only drink water or grapefruit juice and a lot of carrot juice. I eat salmon, tuna, baked chicken. No sauces. Lemon juice and spices ok. Frozen fruit smoothies made wtih rice milk. Never food with preservatives. I save money cause I eat less w/no hunger.

    becuase things that come in a wrapper are more affordable and its ready to eat most of the time. and not all things in wrappers are bad for u. i eat protien bars after working out.

    Eat right and excersise damnit!!

    Look on the food triangle. it is the basic. if it comes in a wrapper, its not good for you… duh. Why is this soo complicated for people to understand?
