“if you eat hi … “if you eat hi glycemic fruit”
Please list the “hi glycemic fruit”
Fruit generally has low glycemic index unless you process it. Furthermore, fruit generally has low glycemic load AND increases insulin RESPONSE, which means less extracellular, free flowing glucose and lower insulin levels are produced. But meat REDUCES insulin response, risking diabetes.
Perhaps u are not measuring your GI correctly. According to available GI charts, fruit ranges from low to moderate.
Asia Pac J Clin … Asia Pac J Clin Nutr. 2007;16(3):411-21.
mixed fruit and vegetable juice concentrates increased protective serum antioxidants and folate and decreased plasma homocysteine.
Compared with baseline, measures of oxidative stress decreased with serum lipid peroxides declining -10.5% (p<0.02) and urine 8OHdG decreasing -21.1% (p<0.02).
supplementation with the fruit capsules proved to be a highly bioavailable source of phytonutrients.
As you know CVD is a comorbidity w/DB2..

Raisins are a low to moderate glycemic index food with a correspondingly low insulin index.
to determine the glycemic index (GI) and insulin index (II) of raisins and evaluate if these values are similar in different populations.
Serum glucose and insulin concentrations were measured from capillary fingerstick blood samples at baseline..
The lower insulin response in the A group compared with the other groups suggests enhanced insulin sensitivity.
Asia Pac J Clin … Asia Pac J Clin Nutr. 2008;17(4):635-43.
guava (Psidium guajava L) and noni (Morinda citrifolia L) may protect betel quid-chewing Papua New Guineans against diabetes.
These plants, along with BQ and areca nut (Areca catechu L) and Piper betle L inflorescence, were essed for ability to mediate insulin-dependent and insulin-independent glucose transport in cultured 3T3-L1 adipocytes.
guava and noni is proposed to offer better protection against DM2 development & diabetogenicity.
Fruit does NOT ” … Fruit does NOT “spike your glucose level” unless u are intentionally consuming hybridized sweet fruits, avoiding the skins, in larger amounts, rather than grazing on wild fruit with fiber. What fruit did u ‘verify’?
If u look at the research, sugar that is extracted from fruit products spikes glucose but fructose in natural fruit is convered slowly and increasees insulin response. Please post the results of your unique study here or retract your claim. I will supply research to verify too.
Freelea, hey, I … Freelea, hey, I have the same issue you had: candida. It’s been a month without eating any overt fats, avocadoes, nuts, seeds. Just low-fat fruits, but I have had lettuce and tomatoes. Do you think I should have a consult with Doug? I didn’t want to. I don’t even know the expense, which I wanted to run away from. Do you think I really have to go on monoisland (just one fruit) to resolve this issue? Thanks.
if you eat hi … if you eat hi glycemic fruit it will spike your glucose level, meat has a low or no glycemic index. you can verify all these things (not just read about it) by checking your glucose levels after eating, as I have.
“cancer feeds off … “cancer feeds off sugar”
Cancer also feeds off protein and fat. To minimize cancer and diabetes risks eat whole fruits, which have antioxidants and fiber that releases the sugar gradually in a controlled manner, converting natural fructose to glucose without the insulin spike. There are hundreds of antioxidants in fruit. Meat decreases insulin response causing more free flowing glucose.
It makes all the … It makes all the difference how long the chain is. True about eating alot, hence why my previous post doesn’t say anything about eating an all fruit diet. But fruits such as bananas and apples can definitely help to normalize blood sugar. (in moderation of course.) But uming your diabetic, you probably already know this.
cancer feeds off … cancer feeds off sugar. Doesn’t make any difference how long the chain is, too much fruit will spike the blood sugar, thats what my glucose meter tells me.
How about the fact … How about the fact that those arn’t facts. Most fruits contain medium to long chain carbs. Fruits contain powerful cancer fighting compounds.
Excellent video. … Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. I was similar – my problems only cleared up once I got onto 811 and off the anything goes raw diet.
woops, I mean ” … woops, I mean “nutritional needs change” when going on raw. but changing for many is merely like trying to quit a massive cigarette addiction
nutritional needs … nutritional needs when going on raw. the “scientific sources” don’t mention this because they always had nutritional needs of people on cooked and bloated diets. I mean for sure, when on cooked….”magical nutrients” will certainly be needed to balance out all the chaos when eating cooked. This should answer your question.
hey gotta important … hey gotta important question.ive been asking around looking 4 input. 1st i wanna say i love 811 ! but what about the proven fact that cancer cells/tumors etc. feeds off of any form of sugar, including fruit sugar?this is one issue that concerns me. how does all the massive fruit intake affect a cancer patient, or someone predisposed to cancer because most of their family has had it one time or another? any thoughts u have on this, or info, studies, other books besides 811,etc. would be helpful!
from what i’ve seen … from what i’ve seen he knocks grain because of gluten, quinoa, amaranth, buckwheat and millet contain no gluten, another complaint is sugar. You would replace grain with fruit, which has much higher sugar content? that makes a lot of sense. Are there any peer reviewed scientific studies in this book or just more anecdotal quotes like ” I feel so much better after I quit eating ( Insert devil food here)?
