If you eat the DEAD …
If you eat the DEAD you will be the DEAD. If you eat the LIFE you will be the LIFE! simple said done!

  2. MyPlaceMiami

    God does not care …
God does not care if the humans KILL the BEAST and if the beast kills the humans BUT the PROBLEM is when you EAT THE BEAST THAT YOU KILL when the problems occurs within yourself destroys itself.

Its the things that we put in our bodies that that make us what we are! Thats how I see it. Don’t eat the dead. EAT THE LIFE!

    Peace

    Dan, you are very good!:-)))

  4. lauriem1967

    You know Dan, we …
You know Dan, we all need some type of loving, whether it be spiritual or physical. Let’s face it, love is “THE” thing that we all need and desire, from the inside of ourselves emmiting to the outside and beyond. Raw food accentuates the way nature wants us to be, natural and easy to love and easy to give love, you’re on the right track. I try everyday to stay balanced in my thoughts and my love, thanks for the talk man! I definately need more friends like you and Krista, love you guys xo

    SWEET =D and yes. …
SWEET =D and yes. pointing fingers gets us nowhere.

  7. thesetwofeet

    MK, yes, I should …
MK, yes, I should apologize for making it sound like you were pointing fingers. You were not. I was speaking in general that we should not point fingers because I see people doing that, but I did not intend to make it sound like I thought you were.

  8. mkdavids

    cool..and dont get …
cool..and dont get me wrong…i was never judging you just as i hope you were not judging me…just expressing different points of view. wow, this commenting things is addictive. ah!

    Excellent point! :D
    Excellent point! :D

    i dont think id …
i dont think id like to live in a meat house…lol…sorry, i just couldn’t resist. back to work!

  11. thesetwofeet

    I agree. We all …
I agree. We all have good and bad. None of us are without sin. We just have to try to be the best person we can be and we probably each do that in different ways.

Also don’t get me wrong. I support vegans and eating raw with all my heart if it’s working and keeping them in good health. I just get a little concerned when people start judging other people.

  12. mkdavids

    i wasn’t trying to …
i wasn’t trying to point fingers. just trying to have a discussion on a topic we’re both clearly interested in, wanting to express my views and listen to yours, which are somewhat different but essentially the same. we both want to be healthy and want the earth to thrive. cool. thats all i care about. but i gotta get back to work before my boss freaks! haha. have an amazing day! nice talkin with ya…

    Meat is a renewable …
Meat is a renewable resource too ;) When you clear out trees you probably take down a few bird nests too. There is more to building a house than just the wood though. There is fuel burned to transport the wood, energy used, nails that require steel to be made from iron and on and on. The point by living as we do, we support the monsters that kill the earth just as me eating a steak support the monster food processors.

  14. thesetwofeet

Let me get this out …
Let me get this out too. I am fat. I probably also have some damage to my health from years of drinking soft drinks, alcohol, eating processed foods, refined sugar, candy bars, etc. If I die tomorrow of some disease I want it known that I mistreated my body by consuming manmade foods almost all my life so let’s not blame meat in general should that happen :) – I personally think leans meats, especially fish (if as God intended, not polluted by man) are healthy in small amounts.

  15. mkdavids

    but in regards to …
but in regards to your list…how did you know i lived in a wooden house and drove a car?! haha…actually i dont live in a wooden house…but no i wouldnt have a problem whatsoever with living in a wooden house. trees are a renewable resource.

  16. mkdavids

    i never claimed to …
i never claimed to be perfectly moral. lol.
and obviously in this modern world we are compelled to make choices that dont always line up with our ideals 100% of the time. but the goal is to keep progressing and doing things that resonate with you and you are able to do in your given situation.

  17. thesetwofeet

MK, We all could do …
MK, We all could do more for the earth. I love nature and I am guilty of tarnishing it as we all are. Eating meat may (not sure) be more important to survival and good health than using a computer or a TV or makeup or wearing jewelry or any number of things most of us do that indirectly, or directly, destroy life and harm the environment.

We each have to fight our own demons but let’s not point fingers at each other. Both of us are guilty.

  18. thesetwofeet

    I agree 100% but if …
I agree 100% but if you’re going to get moral about eating food, shouldn’t you get moral about living in a house made of wood or driving a car that uses fuel that is mined from the earth and causes pollution or shouldn’t you stop using a computer that requires mining of fuels and ores, burning of fuels for transportation, pollution of old computers throw in the ground or dumped in the ocean, etc. etc. That kills more life than eating.

  19. mkdavids

    …but as you said …
…but as you said before, one can find evidence to support either side and im sure we could both comment back and forth for days on evidence to support our views . but i think the main point, for me anyway, is that whatever we choose to eat, eat it with love and gratitude, and a knowing that food isn’t everything. to life!

  20. mkdavids

    interesting …
interesting thoughts. but even if ALL the physical traits pointed to humans being omnivores (which it doesnt from what ive gathered)…there is more to a diet, in my opinion, than the physical..i.e. ecological, spiritual etc. and as humans we have a choice what we eat.

  21. thesetwofeet

    Additionally, we …
Additionally, we have hydrochloric acid in our stomachs which herbivores do not have to my knowledge. We also apparently need B12 which isn’t readily available in plant life. Historical records of man seem to indicate we were hunters for the most part. I think the bottom line is we probably need both ideally but can survive on either or. I believe most disease comes from manmade foods as well as water, air and land pollution. Also some raw foods we should not eat like grains.

  22. mkdavids

    im sure a person …
im sure a person could survive on any type of food item, for some time, i guess the quest is to find a diet that one thrives on for a loooong time. and yeah…thats gonna be different for every person…so yeah, to each his own and to always growing! thanks for the response. =) peace.

  23. thesetwofeet

    The placement and …
The placement and focus of our eyes, the fact that we do have canines, the way our digestive system functions in regard to what it can and cannot digest, i.e. cannot digest beans, wheat and many other raw foods.

My personal feeling is we were designed to eat mostly fruits and vegetables and some meat. I believe one could survive only on meat and I believe one could survive only on fruits and vegetables but that neither diet is ideal.

We will never know for sure.

  24. mkdavids

i do my best not to …
i do my best not to ignore evidence either way….(and would have loved to hear the physical traits that you are speaking of that point to us being carnivores) but yeah im am always learning new things and adjusting my lifestyle as need be, as i would hope everyone would do, but sure, in the end, people should do what they feel is best for them and what they are thriving on. so do your thing and lets all be happy.

  25. thesetwofeet

    You find what you …
You find what you look for. I could come up with just as many physical traits in humans to say that we are carnivores. It’s a useless debate though because you’re going to accept the evidence that supports your current belief and ignore the evidence that disputes your belief. We all do that so the best I can say is to do what is right for you and I will do what is right for me. I have tried multiple diets, including fruitarian, fasting, vegan, etc. and so far meat helps me.
