What would be the best diet and health teachings that I can give to a patient with leptospirosis?

I would like to know what specific nutrients they need. What health teachings could I provide about the disease that they have.. pls. help me.. It’s for my assignment.
in leptospirosis liver n kidney both damaged, so give lots a fluids, the best being alkaline, ionized  water, fresh fruit juices homemade n clean, low fat n low protein diet high carbs. n health edu- never bathe in an open stream or river. n dont drink water from such untreated places. n if there’s a rat infestation treat it.n to reduce spread never pee in open waters.
