What is the best high quality water filter that you can buy.?

Ok I am a boy scout and I would like a good backpacking water filter that I can use to filter lake and river water. I live in wyoming and I would like it to be quality over weight and something that could last a lifetime.
This is probably the best one out there, I’ve been using it for about two years and it works great. Check out Enagis.  The water filter is by far the best available.  It alakalizes, filters & it also leaves the minerals in the water.  Check out their free DVD
